We are lucky to have an active congregation and regularly put on a wide variety of community-focused events.
The Friends of Amesbury Abbey Church host the annual May Fayre and Scarecrow Trail as well as jumble sales and other similar events. They raise money to carry out essential repair work to the building.
Other committees, including Social and Outreach and Fundraising, host events such as a monthly walking group, art exhibitions, choir concerts and much more.
We make the most of the facilities available by hosting events in both the church itself and our nearby community hall, the Wyndham Hall ensuring that our events are welcoming and accessible for everyone in the local community.
Last Years May Fayre was a huge success. we want to continue this next year. If you want to register for a stall then please let us know using the contact us at the top of the page. Watch the video to the left to see what happened last year!

The film stars James Stewart as George Bailey, a man who has given up his dreams in order to help others, and whose imminent suicide on Christmas Eve brings about the intervention of his guardian angel, Clarence Odbody (Henry Travers). Clarence shows George all the lives he has touched and how different life in his community of Bedford Falls would be if he had never been born. Rated PG.
